 Lia SuzukiLia Suzuki is a practicing licensed massage therapist and educator based in Santa Barbara, California. Her clients range from Olympic athletes to Hollywood celebrities, whom she has treated in her office, their homes, and 5 star hotels in Montecito and Santa Barbara. In addition to having a thriving private practice in Santa Barbara, California, Lia also teaches Barefoot Sports Massage worldwide.Lia Suzuki entered the field of massage having already had years of intuitive training. With 25 years of experience in the martial art of Aikido, she has a solid foundation in energy work. She lived and trained in Japan and is currently the national director of Aikido Kenkyukai USA. In addition to practicing Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Pre-Natal massage and other modalities, Lia is also one of the few practitioners in the area who practices Barefoot Sports Massage. Using this modality, she can provide and maintain very deep pressure for those who desire it. Interests and Hobbies: Lia's hobbies include movies, travel, and taking her dog Tosh to the beach.
