Gorazd Andrejc

Education: BA in Education (Philosophy and Physics) and a separate BA in Theology. Almost finished MA in Philosophy at University of Maribor, Slovenia (I have not submitted the thesis yet). I am at present a postgraduate in inter-religious relations at University of Cambridge, UK, which is the study that has my first priority.

In my career I have been a teacher of philosophy in a respected high school, a pastor and a free-lance writer for several serious newspapers in Slovenia. I have written also several academic articles (philosophy of religion) and translated some. My main topics of research are (or have been) Philosophy of religion (epistemology of religious beliefs, faith and reason relations), Religions and Society (inter-religious relations), Christian-Jewish relations. , Environmental Ethics, Religion and Ethics, Faith and Reason relations.

Interests and Hobbies:

Writing, reading, blogging and cycling. Lately I have been actively reading and writing on environmental ethics, religion and ethics, faith and reason topics. In religion, I currently study about postmodern perspectives (Jewish and Christian) in biblical research. In environmentalism, I try to have as good a grasp as possible of the most sensible lifestyle changes that environmental crisis demands from us - with other words, in which eco-friendly changes makes the most sense to invest our energy or ability to change.
