Maggie MacLeanI spent my professional career in business management for Greif Bros. Corporation in Ohio, but I had to retire early. That almost broke my heart, until I realized I could do something I've always wanted to do—write! And I've been writing every day since then. I've been an amateur historian since I was a child, and I love history, particularly American history, with a strong emphasis on American women. I now have three blogs, and I have numerous posts on each one. I would like to submit articles from all three:Civil War Women Designing Divas, a designer jewelry and fashion blog History of American Women Interests and Hobbies: I am a 62-year-old grandmother of five little ones, and I live in southwest Florida—in the Fort Myers area. I moved here in 2001 to escape the nasty northern winters, and my rheumatoid arthritis likes it much better here. My hands are not in good shape, but I love to cross stitch and make quilts for my grandchildren. And I read voraciously about a wide range of topics. |
