Zotrim is quite a familiar sight to UK high street shoppers but may not be quite so familiar other European countries or Americans.

While the over the counter slimming tablet market seems caught up in sensationalism after the introduction of Glaxo’s self professed wonder slimming tablet, Zotrim has started to quietly build up a reputation and customer base and not through its own accord.

The commercial slimming tablet industry is not governed by the strict rules and guidelines that are set for pharmaceutical based usually prescription only slimming products.

Slimming tablets that are free to buy without doctor consultation are in almost cases natural herbal extracts and so not considered a medicine but more a herbal remedy.

This lack of steadfast ruling can open up opportunities for producers of herbal slimming products to make unsubstantiated claims in connection to efficacy without fear of reprisal.

So Where Does Zotrim fit into the equation?
