Zombie

My mind is dead,
But my heart is beating,
I'm a mindless zombie,
Walking among the living.

I sit there silently,
Staring into space,
But I'm fighting battles,
In a dark hollow place.

Within the cracks
In my head
I have to deal with
Pain and self hatred.

My body is rotting,
From the years of horror,
Flashing before my eyes
I wish I would just die.

I'm in a dark place,
And I'm trying to claw my way out,
It's not entirely my fault,
I didn't put myself in this dark abyss,
For it was the betrayl of those who I held dear to my heart.

It's ripping me apart,
But when I'm through with this hibernation
I.will.rip.you.apart.

Like you did to me,
When I held you to my heart,
But now that your gone.
I. feel. nothing.

I'm a zombie, walking among the living,
But soon enough, you'll all come to fear me.
