Youth Co-Creation Glorious Future, Dialogue
In a holy, pious and divine evening on the top of the mountain a few angel clipped their wing to discuss on an important issues what should be the role of youth in bringing harmony in society. Growing burden, tension, addiction and frustration is eating away the fruits of their qualification, talent, degree, expertise, experience, enthusiasm, and last but not the least earning. Youth who beliefs in freedom and entertainment along with excellence in life are hardworking, dedicated, but quite often are directionless, indecisive and confused. They do not have time to sit in quit to discriminate right and wrong to understand the secret of life. They want ready-made and customized solution.
In a cool , calm, enthralling , virtuous and sanctimonious evening in the presence of senior Brothers and Sisters of Brahma Kumaris 34 delegates joined the session at Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu.
Youth Dialog with the theme 'Co-creating Glorious Future' is being organized by the Youth Wing -Brahma Kumaris at the holy premises of Gyan Sarovar, Mt Abu.
On 5th June 2010 the Dialog was inaugurated in the presence of Rev. Dadi Ratan Mohini Ji, Joint Administrative Head, Brahma Kumaris and Chairperson of Youth Wing, Dr Sudarshan Iyengar, the Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Sister Jayshree Patel, Honorable Member of Parliament from Mehsana and Didi Chandrika Ji, National Coordinator of Youth wing of Brahma Kumaris along with 35 invited delegates from different parts of the India.
During the course of the dialogue, Dr Sudarshan Iyengar emphasized on the importance of understanding the present day reality for the youth to transform their dream into reality.
Sister Jayshree Patel expressed her concern for the global warming and advised the youth to be a part of the nation building process by sparing time for social development on literacy and environment.
Didi Chandrika Ji highlighted three principles which one should never do in one's life: reject, react and repeat. It means one should not reject anyone on any weaknesses, one should not react and one should not repeat or spread the wrong message.
Present youths are mentally disturbed due to lack of proper awareness about the self, living with the false perception about self as the mortal body, quoted by the Dadi Ratan Mohini Ji. The true knowledge and understanding of self as the self luminous divine entity and relationship with the Almighty Father can solve the problems of life.
At the end Dadi Ratan Mohini Ji concluded the session by empowering the participants through guided meditation.
Young people developmental issues, developing their energy and sustaining their transformation is a major challenge. Most of the youth have been playing major role in shaping the civilization, so there is an expectation from youth in present time.
Sister Gopi from UK, Oxford, Brahma Kumaris center unfold the paradox in the name of value we are getting so rigid we do not even care of human emotion or relationship. Countries are fighting in name values not the vices.
The value should act like a cementing force to make the relationship stronger better and light. We need to understand the importance of spiritual value. We need the proper understanding of the spiritual value that can act like an united force.
As per brother Salman "we need to redefine the definition of glorious future, in addition to economic development we need to pay attention and importance to inner development".
As per Senior Sister Chandrika adopt five principles in the life
1-Look forward.
2-Learn.
3-Give co-operation at personal, institution and social level.
Highlighting right example of co-operation is Human Body, if we can understand the secret of it we can do a lot.
4- Be positive.
Be Peaceful and Powerful we can change.
Be merciful. Youth are liable to make error, to correct them your advise will not work out, they need your empathy, understanding and forgiveness, as if you do not know anything about their weakness.
5. Become a good donor everyone needs your honest smile, understanding, support and appreciation.
