You’re Not Here Anymore

The pain of losing someone at the moment where nothing else seem to matter
The fire burns, my heart is sore
The rain finally falls down
Now you’re not here anymore

Your picture is off my wall
A smile I’ll never see again
Nothing is the same, nothing at all

I listen to your favorite song
I cried at the line
Together we belong

I sit here thinking I could’ve done more
Crying at the memory of that day
Crying because you’re not here anymore

The last words you said that day
I never want to see you again
I can’t believe you’re not here today

I was walking through your door
And I never knew that day
Was the day you’re not here anymore
