Your Wedding Day

I know this poem is long, and a little buppy...but I hope u kinda like it.
You walk down that wedding isle
With my best friend in your arms

I watch you from my seat
Her with a smile, and you with all his charms

As you both go sit, she holds your hand
And tells you she loves you

I don’t understand how she got to your heart
Because I once loved you too

From the corner of my eye I could see your best friend
A lady sits beside him; I think it’s his wife
It seems like he’s happy
Cause he has someone in his life

I look back at my watch, its 10:43
The lights are dimming, and the music is slower

You both get up and you hold her tight
The notes are lower

You’re dancing to my favorite song…
She puts her arms around you

And you bring her chin up
I know what you’re going to do…

After the song is done you both go sit
I look at my watch again and its 10:54

The announcer brings out a microphone
And sets it in the middle of the dance floor

The lights go darker, and there’s a spotlight on the microphone
The announcer says:

"Congratulations "blank" and "blank"…we’ve all had fun tonight but now lets see what friends and family say to this new couple and their upcoming days!"

I watch as people go up to say a couple of words
I look at my watch and see that it’s already 11:51

A moment of silence hits the hall
Everyone was done

I wait to see if anyone else was going to go
But no one does

As I begin to walk to the mic
I can hear people buzz

When I get to the mic
I stand there for a while looking down

When I finally look up
I undo my frown

I first look at your best friend, ****
And then at your wife, my "old" friend

I yet don’t have the strength to look at you
And I hope it’ll stay like that til the end

I begin:

"You forgot I had a heart, you promised you wouldn’t leave me…but you broke a promise and you broke a heart…. I know you hate me, but its okay…you forgot what we could be today (pause, I put my hand in my back pocket) look at yourself, your getting married to my friend (I get on my knees) why? (I pull out a gun from my back pocket and point it to my head)"

The second the gun is pointed to my head
People are screaming and running

But I no longer can see
It feels like I’m doing nothing

I look right into your eyes
I have tears running down my face
I can see the past
And I know this is the perfect place

I’ve dreamed of this moment
I’ve dreamed to die

I pull the trigger, and now…
All I can see is death leading my way. …… Goodbye!
