I'm so sick of constantly holding back tears,
Losing you was one of my biggest fears,
Every stupid thing reminds me of you,
Which makes it pretty hard to start something new.

I wish I could forget the day I looked into your eyes,
It would have saved me a lot of pain and sad goodbyes,
I'll never forget all the happy times we had in the past,
I should have known it was all too good to last.

I guess you can't say that I never tried,
I was always there to hold you when you cried,
You've hurt me too much... though and it isn't fair,
It's hard to believe you were ever my snuggle bear.

I'm going to walk out of this relationship with pride,
Because I didn't cheat and I never lied,
But I did truly love you with all I had,
I guess there's not much else to add,
I think this is your loss not mine,
I'm going on with my life and I'll be just fine.
