Your Heart

Love's warmer in the winter.
Outside it’s bitter cold
Where everything is still and frosted
But I get a warm feeling
That sends me reeling
When I see
That Jack Frost has left
Your heart drawn upon my window pane.

And when I’m in your arms
With your warm kisses against my lips
In the heat of your embrace
That cold landscape beyond my window
Melts away for yet another day.

In the morning
All I have to do
To keep a warm glow
Is to look at my window pane
And see your heart there
To remind me of the love we share.

And if I dare to say
That all the winters
Behind us and those still ahead
Become easier to bear
As long as you are beside me my dear.
