Your Hands can Help Show Your True Age

We are all very consumed in looking young and being healthy as the years start growing. We do many things to try to reverse this process by changing our diet, quit smoking, exercising, and using great anti-aging lotions and creams. The one thing many of us forget is to take care of our hands. Our hands in many ways, takes the most abuse from outer elements.

In general, our hands usually get the least amount of protection. We may be doing yard work, or working out or other daily activities which can really put our skin on the bank of our hands to the test. We are always using harsh soap and excess water to wash our hands many times a day. If you are in an environment where the weather may be cold, your hands may get chapped if you are not wearing the correct gloves.

Many of us are consumed about showing our age when we are looking at our face. We will try all kinds of anti aging creams or regiments not to have wrinkles or lines on our face. Some of us will go to the doctor for regular botox and other medical treatments, no matter how painful they may be to look young. Anything we can do to fight the aging process, but somehow we forget our hands.

Next time when you get a chance, take a look at a friend’s hands and notice the appearance of their hands. They may have very few lines or wrinkles on their face, but their hands may tell a different story. Many of us will use Vitamin C or moisturizers on our faces and use the excess, if any on our hands. Generally speaking, most of us put nothing on our hands on daily basis.

There are many great creams that use the same anti-aging elements on your face that now can be used on your hands. The body or your skin needs Vitamin A or retinol that will keep the skin moist. Age spots like to show up on many people hands. The use of a high grade Vitamin C can reverse the aging process and fight age spots and other elasticity issues.

The point is that we take care of our faces first, but neglect other parts of the body when it comes to the skin. We need to give the body a full regiment to have great skin. Eating very healthy and exercising all play major parts in looking great. We need to use products with strong ingredients to keep our skin full of elasticity and collagen. All of these components need to happen to keep us feeling fantastic and looking great.

Our hands are always naked for the public to see. We can’t put some makeup to cover the abuse or hands have dealt over the years. Hands will always help decipher the age of somebody. So please don’t forget to take the time to moisturize your hands on a regular basis. Let’s give them the same care needed on the rest of our body.
