You think, God thinks

Christ’s mind is not focused on material things as these will perish sooner or later. Having a positive thinking is a great thing, but when your positive thinking excludes God’s purposes…you are on a wrong path. God has all the power and we as Christians have to be aware of that and not make ourselves guilty of being our own gods.
You think, God thinks
Christianity today is not threatened too much by persecution, at least in the rich-democratic countries like Eastern Europe, United States, and few countries from Asia. The main enemy for our churches doesn't shoot arrows from the outside, but from inside. Satan found his way in the midst of us, between us and he is trying to deceive many.

When God created man, He enriched him with the amazing ability that makes the difference between him and the animals, it is the ability to think! God did not want a bunch of robots that will obey everything He says; no, He wants us to choose to obey Him! From all the other options we have, all of the other ways we can do anything, He wants us to choose Him. A song says: "From thousands of thousands of thousands I chose You. Many voices called me, out stretched hands wanted me. But out of all of them, of course, I chose you." We are called to choose Him.

There are, though, as I mentioned above, some that willingly, or not, that are not obeying God. Some managed to twist around God's Word so much that they came up with the idea that your mind has a power that is not awake. If you manage to awake that power, whatever you think happens. And this is a bad wind that blows in the church of God, deceiving the chosen people of God. It is this caricature of the Bible, started from Napoleon Hill's book, Think and grow rich.

This perverted gospel wants to make men gods. The children of God are told: "Your destiny is in your own hands. Everything you can imagine belongs to you. Through the words that come out of your mouths, you bring everything you want to existence. You can create anything with a positive mental attitude. The success, the happiness, the perfect health, all this belong to you, just if you use your minds in a creative way. Make your dreams come true using the power of your minds".

I am not saying that a positive attitude is wrong, what I want to emphasize is that pretending and preaching a Gospel of prosperity is against what the Bible claims.

Believe it or not, this is happening today, in our evangelistic churches, and we must awake! Satan told Eve long ago, You will be like God. I am sure that Eve wanted that! I am sure some of us, today, want that. We are not satisfied with things given to us by God. We are not happy with our gifts. We want more, and if we can't make God understand that, then we create them for ourselves. Oh, The Bible is so full of examples where we are told that pride is a sin, that wanting to be like God is a sin. Even the second commandment forbids us to make other gods.

You might say, Oh, I didn't create any god, I only worship the true God. I tell you, if you are using your mind to create new things, what does that make you? You don't have to make another god, you are your own God; your mind tells you what to do; your mind is controlling your destiny; you use your mind to make a better future. Idolatry is a sin, and God will never accept idolaters in His heaven. Jesus came to show God, and some of us want to show ourselves.

We have to know, once and for all, that God will never give up His rights for our mind's power's sake, either negative or positive. We must not look for our thinking, but for Christ', and Christ' mind is not materialistic; it is not focused on success or wealth. Christ’ mind only purpose is the glory of God and submission to His Word. There is no other teaching that ignores the Cross and the perversion of human minds. This diabolical teaching ignores the sinfulness of human nature. It takes the eyes away from the Gospel of Christ, the gospel of eternal salvation, focusing it on earthly profit.

Christians are called to fight! Fight against these teachings! Warn everybody about the deceiving plan that Satan has brought to God's church. Saints of God, run away from such things!
