You left US behind
Poem about my dad leaving me and my family to live on our own..
I once would look up to you,
for you were my hope.
my hero.
I would run and cry to you.
But you left me all alone.
You call me up,
and tell me I should come to you.
I tell you this is all your fault in the first place.
For if you wouldn’t have left mom, sis and me,
left us to rot behind, none of this would’ve ever happened.
Elisha looks up to you as her own.
And even thought her own father once left her as you did to me,
she looked up to you as her won father.
but you turned us all down.
