You Changed Me 8 (Last Chapter!!)

Recap: But in my head I couldn’t get over this question that Lauren had asked me a couple of days ago when I had come home from Calvin’s crying, "Are you sure you know the whole story?"

Chapter 8

It’s been about four months since me and Calvin have talked. I have been actually kind of happy. I have met this other guy named Marcus. I really like him he’s cute funny and smart.

I’ve seen Calvin from time to time. He has a new girl. She is honestly, kind of pretty. Well prettier than me at least. He looks the same as cute as ever! I am not completely over him. But anyways there is no going back.

He is part of the past and I am looking for the future.

(Okay, above I just wrote that stuff for fun. It wasn’t real. That stuff didn’t happen. Anyways here is the REAL chapter 8.)

The REAL Chap. 8 (Three weeks later)

The cutest thing happened today I got a bouquet of pink and white roses delivered to me. I was a little confused at first then I read the card and figured out it was from Calvin. But the card dang near made me cry. It said"
I get it were over, this means I will stop calling you.
Stop texting you and everything. Well at least I will try.
But this is my last gift to you, as a final apology.
I really wish I could explain, but you won’t give me
the chance. I am at least thankful that I got to know
you. You are one heck of a girl Jordin. Okay well….goodbye <3 <3

I showed it to Lauren who was upset that I had wakened her up but wasn’t as mad when she read the card. I looked at her all teary eyed.
"Go talk to him…now!" she said.

I shook my head furiously. She didn’t even have to tell me to do it because I was going to anyways.

She offered to help me pick out an outfit. I declined her offer. I didn’t want to wear something that wasn’t me I wanted to be natural.

So I picked out some black knee length athletic shorts, a purple tank top, and my favorite Hollister Jacket and some white Nike’s.

I had a plan all figured out in my head. I pulled up into his driveway. Luckily his parents weren’t home. Took the roses out of the car with me. I made a little trail leading to the side of his house, using the white and sort pink colored roses.

I ran up quickly to his door knocked really hard, and then ran to the spot where the trail of roses led to.

I think I heard the door open, I am not exactly sure. I didn’t hear any footsteps for like forever. Maybe he was a little confused. I knew I probably would have been. But then I heard footsteps approaching slowly.
I saw his feet turn and within seconds he was in front of me. His eyebrows furrowed into a confused and surprised expression.

"Jordin wha—" he began.
I cut him off by pressing my lips to his. I kissed him with everything I had in me.

When I pulled away he smiled a little. "I’m sorry" he mumbled looking down at the ground.

"I am too" I said moving closer to him.

He looked at the trail of roses and said "I see you got the roses" and laughed a little.

"Oh yeah" I laughed too.

"I miss—" I began saying.

The next thing I knew he was kissing me. It was slow and passionate. It showed so many emotions like, sadness, pain, some anger, and lastly…….regret?!!! But it also showed a lot of love. Wait love? Love? LOVE!!!

He pulled away and brushed his fingers across my cheek.

"I am so sorry" he repeated. I saw water start to fill his eyes. Was he crying? Yes! Oh my gosh he was crying……over……over me!!

Before I knew it tears started streaming down my face. I slowly mumbled one word "Why".
Instead of answering me he led me inside. I was still waiting for a answer. He sat me on the couch and explained everything. How that was his ex-girlfriend, how she had come back over to try and get back together. He said he told her no because he was into someone else (me!!). How she kissed him and he pulled back. Then she tried again. Also how he fell for the bait and kissed back. Thant’s when I came in the picture.

I has said sorry so many times while he was telling his story I don’t remember how many though. Why hadn’t I listened to Lauren when she asked me if I knew the whole story. I obviously didn’t . I am soooo DUMB!

I could have gotten mad at him because he kissed her back but no. That would be idiotic and child’s play. He admitted he did it and that was enough. Well that and apologizing!

I stayed at his house for a LONG! Time. We hugged and made-up. Watched movies hand pizza, and kissed. He was the best boyfriend a girl could dream for. He is my love and My breath, My EVERYTHING!!!
