Eyes wide shut
I try to steady my breathing
I let the darkness overtake me
Sinking deeper and deeper into an abyss
It reminds me of you
I don’t want it to end like this
The dark is too much
Save me from this, from myself, from you
Keep me wrapped up and protect me
A joyous moment turned into this
I fall into the dark, only able to reminisce
Of you, of us and now of nothing.
