Xbox 360 Kinect Games Coming Soon

The latest trend in the world of gaming - motion sensing gaming, seems to have taken the world by storm. While Nintendo has been a pioneer in the world of motion sensing gaming with the Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus to its credit, Sony entered the arena with PlayStation Move & PlayStation Eye in September 2010, and Microsoft followed with Kinect for Xbox 360 in November 2010. Even though Microsoft Kinect made its debut two months after PlayStation Move, it did catch up with Sony in a short span of time. More recently, the manufacturers of both the consoles have been banking on the list of motion sensing video games they have to offer - and that explains people's eagerness to find out which Kinect games are lined up for release in the days to come.

Xbox 360 Kinect

At the time of its launch, Microsoft Kinect had 17 titles to its credit - including names like Kinect Adventures (which came bundled with Kinect,) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, EA Sports Active 2, Kinect Sports, Deca Sports Freedom, Fighters Uncaged, Sonic Free Riders etc. Over the course of time several new games have been added to this list making the total number of available Kinect compatible Xbox 360 games to 41. The list is expected to cross the 100 mark some time in 2011 with some of the most anticipated Kinect games scheduled for release this year. At the same time, quite a few game developers are expected to announce the release of their games sometime soon.

Upcoming Xbox 360 Kinect Games

While some Microsoft Xbox 360 games have 'Requires Kinect Sensor' written on their cover, others have 'Better with Kinect Sensor' written on them. Basically, those games which have 'Requires Kinect Sensor' on their cover can only be played with a Kinect. Those which have 'Better with Kinect Sensor' written on the cover, on the other hand, are compatible to Kinect but they can be played without Kinect as well.
