Wristcutters: A Love Story

INSPIRED by the movie "Wristcutters, A Love Story". With Patrick Fugit. It is amazing. You should see it. But otherwise this is a serious poem... and kind of real, except I'm not dead...
I giggled as it trickled,
down my arm;
It was warm,
bright red in color
I must be sick,
I must be crazy
Seeing all this made my mind go hazy.

I touched it with my finger,
spread it around,
A little bit dripped to the ground,
by my toe,
And I bent down
a perfect circle, it looked to be
Like I said, I must be crazy.

It didn't even hurt, not a bit
It took my pain, and carried it
down my arm,
onto the floor,
away from me
forevermore?

No.
I'd be back, this would happen again,
I became addicted to the sensation;
It made me laugh,
It made me cry,
and eventually...
It made me die.
