Wrinkle Prevention Starts with the Sun
The sun is an important player in the development of wrinkles on the face and body. By following a few tips, you can prevent wrinkles and be aware of the suns impact on your skin, including wrinkles.
Wrinkles can form on your face without any signs or warning. They can show up in the form of crows feet, deep fine lines, facial "crinkles" and other nasty skin-deep impediments. The sun plays a major role in the amount and severity of wrinkles one can obtain. It's strength combined with UV rays are nothing to be taken lightly.
If you care about your skin, be careful around the sun. This isn't to say you have to be lifeless and sit inside all day, but it's a piece of advice I would not wish anyone takes lightly. If you live in a state like Florida, you are very near the equator, thus making the sun a much more potent aspect of your skin care regimen when compared to someone living in say North Dakota. The closer one is to the equator, the more careful one has to be in taking care of their skin and keeping in mind how powerful the sun really is. Places like Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador are considered hot spots for the sun and people spending time in those areas must pay attention to their skin on a much higher level then the rest of the general populace.
Sunblock is a very important tool in keeping your skin under control and out of harms way. If you don't apply sunblock, facial wrinkles can form quite rapidly. Use an SPF around 25. If you use a higher one, it doesn't have much of a difference, so don't waste money on anything higher then 25 SPF. Apply this to your entire body, but be most attentive to the eye area. The eyes are ov utmost importance and can certainly be the worst looking areas of your face should you not pay proper attention to them.
Wear sunglasses when in the sun. This is important for two reasons. One, your skin is very prone to burning and wrinkling around the eye area. And two, when you squint, you increase your odds of obtaining wrinkles. Squinting is awful for your skin and actually induces wrinkle growth. Avoid squinting at all costs.
Do a Google search for "sunblocking eye serum." Find a nice serum to use after exposure to the sun. The sun, as mentioned, causes a lot of damage to the eye area, and it's important to protect that area. At night, apply the serum under the eyes. This also helps avoid dark circles and deep lines that can stem from that area as well. Eye serums normally cool the area under the eye and induce cell regrowth in the capillaries.
The sun is a great thing. Without the sun, it would be a dark, cold world. However, one must appreciate the sun for its true strength, and understand the effects it can have on developing facial wrinkles. Please don't take the sun lightly if you are looking to prevent wrinkles.
