Wrinkle Creams Skyrocket While The Stock Market Crashes

Times are tough out there, that's no doubt. The stock market seems to plunge lower, even with the seemingly hopeful outlook of a new president. Surprisingly, even though the economy seems to worsen, the sales of wrinkle creams is continuing to climb. Does this indicate that beauty products are recession proof? This article takes a look at how even in a declining economy, the sales of wrinkle creams are surging.
Unless you have been living on the moon for the last couple years, you are aware that the stock market is falling rapidly. As we reach an eight year low in the averages, our economic system is hopeful, yet hesitant. With experts contemplating whether there is a gold bubble and if and when it will burst, a quite little secret has been earning sensational gains. The stock market is in the tank, but wrinkle creams are skyrocketing.

Government intervention is never a sign of a market that is self governing, or at least a sign of concern about where the market would take us, if not intervened with. But as that assistance has made it around to AIG for the third time and Bank of America a second time, little focus is spent on industries other than the financials and of course commodities. Granted, these industries are wide ranging and impact most of us consumers out here on "Main Street" but with all the negative news out there, it would be nice to occasionally celebrate some fantastic news.

With the financial storm that our economy is enduring, there is a bit of calmer weather. An industry that is directly related to the baby boomers, who’s retirement is in such question in these uncertain times. These baby boomers, preparing for and enjoying their retirement, have grown tired of their appearance of aging. They have turned away from expensive invasive surgeries and redirected those dollars to at home wrinkle treatments. As a result, these wrinkle cream companies are reflecting the highest profitability they have ever seen.

It doesn’t make sense that in a time of household sacrifice, those consumers would be spending money on items that on the surface seem to be luxury. Not luxury, defined as costing excessive amounts of money, but luxury in the sense that it is not a necessary purchase for survival. Yet sales increase, and the anti aging science strives forward continuing to innovate and expand product lines. It is an industry of growth while the rest of the worlds industries are looking for stimulus and bailout money. Perhaps it is because the money that used to be spent on doctor visits and procedures is now being redirected into these topical solutions, or perhaps it is just a reflection of the number of baby boomers in that aging demographic and the advancement of the industry itself. Whatever the reasons sales are at an all time high, products are being developed constantly, and consumers seem to be in a purchasing frenzy.

If only there were more industries in the stage of growth that wrinkle creams are, there would be more opportunities to make short term money in the market today. We all know that there is money to be made in the market right now by buying a piece of American industry, but most expectations is that the profits are going to be at least 5 to 10 years out. There are very few recommendations out there for the general public to buy in and make money in six months, or a year. Granted, with all the loss that the average consumer is experiencing, it is difficult to ask these people to invest in anything, let alone a wrinkle cream. But right now the numbers are just too good to ignore.

We are all weathering the same storm, and many have reduced our retirement funds or our positions by roughly 50%, it does not make it easy to take risks or chances on quick moving stocks. But that does not mean that those companies are not reflecting all of the signs of a solid investment. From liquidity, to customer base, to margins, these companies look solid on paper. And the popularity surrounding these new wrinkle creams and what the future of the anti aging industry holds with additions like stem cell ingredients is at an all time high. This is no doubt a huge industry in the years to come and for those investors who are willing to step outside the norm for short term profits, this may be an avenue to do just that, profit. Do not let the fact that the stock market is tanking deter you from opportunities like wrinkle creams that are currently skyrocketing.
