Their sites will mention that are sales are final unless mistakenly ordered, or they will not make any mention of a refund policy at all. This is usually cause for caution on your part. If you bought a product from Walgreens, you could return it right? Well that is not the case with all websites. And with the increased amount of ecommerce out there, consumers need to exercise restraint.

One of the most popular scams out there is the Free Trial approach to selling this product. Merchants offer you a product for free offering to not charge your card until 30 days after you receive the product. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Of course. What you don’t see is the very small disclosure that you have been subscribed to continue to receive this product monthly and of course be charged each and every month as well. Wrinkle Cream manufacturers count on you not returning the product or forgetting to do so in time and therefore receiving at least 2 months worth of payments before your even catch on. Whether or not the product works on you is irrelevant to them, they simply want to get as much money from you as possible before you realize what is happening. It’s not that a free trial in and of itself is a bad concept; it is just that in our current economic situation not that many companies could afford such an offer unless they have ulterior motives.

So what can consumers do to protect themselves from such scams? First remember that all offers online are not scams and many products out there do actually help people. Secondly, do plenty of research. Utilize consumer review sites naturally, but remember they too could be compensated based upon their review of a product. So make sure that your Also research the active ingredients in the product you are looking for. You should be able to find studies and medical support of these ingredients if they are potent enough to make a difference in the appearance of you skin. If there is no documented results by a confirmed, licensed third party take a closer look at which product you are choosing. If you find that the product you are thinking about buying is promoting itself with an offer that sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Free Trials should be avoided if at all possible.

With all of this in mind, remember there certainly is a cure out there for you anti aging needs; however, exercising caution and doing diligent research is always the best approach. By learning more about the products you buy, you not only become a more educated consumer, you will also learn more about the appropriate treatments for the symptoms of aging that you possess.
