Would That I
One of those teenage musings. And yes, I admit, this was written almost two decades ago - I am that old :) But my life has changed much, and I am grateful. But this is still a good piece (I think) so, I hope you like it!
do not
in melancholy
so thrives;
Would that I
won't distill
sensitivity
to a fill;
Would that I
can not
in solitude
find my rewards;
Would that I
won't remain
the melancholic,
sensitive loner
I am today.
