Worthless Bride

Basically, just moving on when the worst has happened…
Waiting at the alter outside
White dress and all
Pouring down rain
Everyone has left
Only the pastor remains
Makeup smeared
The now dead flowers
Being chocked in your hands
Holding back the tears
And biting your lip
Wind blows the trees
The clouds are darkened
Rain falls harder
You keep your head to the ground
Waiting and waiting
The pastor places his hand on your shoulder
Thinking he’s gonna say
"He’s here"
But instead he says
"Worthless"
And walks away
You begin to cry
Letting the pain fall
Why you
Why now
Hold strong
Move on
You turn around to find the groom
With the maid of honor
But walk away because you now know
You’re pointless
Worthless...
Loveless
