Are You Ready For The Worst Cars?
The Truth About Cars (TTAC), has already made their own list of the worst vehicles for 2006. The list can be actually found on their very first "Ten Worst Automobiles Today".
What can be considered as the worst vehicles that the automotive world has come to know for this year, 2006? Well, it looks like our questions have been answered for one website, The Truth About Cars (TTAC), has already made their own list of the worst vehicles. The list can be actually found on their very first "Ten Worst Automobiles Today". Yes, they are awarding these vehicles and giving them the proper recognition for being the worst.
Judging and deciding which was best named as the worst automobile was no easy task. After all, it was the daily readers of the website who nominated which vehicles were the worst for them. The reasons could vary – from being a gas guzzler to having the wrong kind of Ford Pinto auto parts to just being the worst. And after the nominations were over, the whole team of writers for TTAC formed a committee of ten auto writers. These would be the ones who had selected the final twenty. Then, the final ten of these were then posted online and it was the readers again who voted via an electronic poll.
So who has made it to the list? Well, you can read on and find out.
According to TTAC, the Chevrolet Aveo makes its mark as the 10th in the list. The group gives their reason for choosing this one. The reasons do include because it has "hollow-sounding doors, bargain-basement plastics, and skinny tires to the course-sounding engine that strains when faced with even the slightest incline."
The list also does include the Lincoln Mark LT which takes the ninth spot because it is "a rolling testament to Dearborn’s short-term, suicidal reliance on bean-counted engineering."
Places eight and seven belong to the Saab 9-7x and the Subaru B9 Tribeca. The former for its being "a Chevy Trailblazer with the ignition key between the seats". As per the Subaru B9 Tribeca, TTAC says that this one is "slow, thirsty and cramped which proves that repulsiveness can be more than skin deep."
The rest of the list comprise of (from the sixth down to the top worst vehicle) the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, the Hummer H2, the Chrysler Aspen, the Buick Rendezvous, the Jeep Compass, and GM minivans.
