Worrying About Him

This is a poem about my friend that is going through some hard times and the night he didn’t call....
I fill myself with grief,
as I sit here in disbelief,
an empty feeling creeps inside,
even though I try to hide,
it finds me,
and binds me,
to my grave stone,
and it chills me to the bone,
I don’t want to let go,
it pains me so,
to know he is hurting himself,
and all he can ask is why do I care,
I don’t know how much more I can bear,
before I lose it all,
and start to fall.
