St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York

Cathedral has been built by using white and tan marble. Roof of the Cathedral has been built with slates from Monson, Maine. Spires of the church rise upto 330 feet and its windows have been built in various places like France and England.
St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City
St. Peter's Basilica or the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter is located in Vatican City. It is very famous for its largest interiors, which is not there in any of the churches world over. The church has the capacity of holding the gathering of 60,000 people at a time. Regarded as the holiest Christian holy place, this church is the burial site of Saint Peter. Saint Peter was an apostle of Jesus and thus the first Bishop of Rome.
Church of Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem
The Church of Holy Sepulchre is also known by the name of Church of Resurrection by Eastern Orthodox Christians. It is located in the old city of Jerusalem. It is located at the site where Lord Jesus was crucified. The church is the holy pilgrimage place of Christians from 4th century and is considered to be the holiest Christian destination on the planet. Church building was damaged by fire in 614 during the invasion of Persians, later on its was restored to its original structure.
Amiens Cathedral, France
Ameins Cathedral is also known by the name of Cathedral of Our Lady of Amiens. It is a Roman Catholic Cathedral and also the seat of Bishop of Amiens. It is the tallest Cathedral in France, which is located in Picardy, Somme River Valley, which is about 100 km distance from Paris. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. It is one of the main tourist attraction place of France.
Basilica of Bom Jesus, India
Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the famous churches of India. It is also known by the name of Basilica of Good Jesus and is located in Goa. Main attraction of the church is the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. It is located in old Goa and it was the capital of Portuguese in the ancient period. It is considered best example of Baroque architecture in India. The church was consecrated in May 1605. It is a world heritage monument. Saint Francis Xavier is said to have great healing powers and attracts devotees from all over the places.
Speyer Cathedral, Germany
Speyer Cathedral is located in Speyer, Germany. The Cathedral is dedicated to St. Mary and St. Stephen. This cathedral was declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1981. The cathedral was consecrated in 1061. When it was constructed it was the second largest building North of Alps. It is an example of great architectural brilliance and is flocked by a large number of devotees from far away places.
