Words of My song - Chapter Seven

Fate brings them together once more.... Sorry its so damn short ppl, just been so busy with exams and everything. But still comment. More out soon, I promise.
‘I’m really due a visit to Andaluzia.’ Lasara thought tiredly. She was still sprawled across her bed, not having bothered moved for a full hour or so. Now, finally, she hoisted herself off the smooth, comforting covers and looked down at herself. She was surprised to find herself in her natural form, having fallen asleep like that and woken up with a fuzzy memory.

Knock knock knock!

"Lasara, honey? You awake? Can I come in?" It was her dad! She stood straight backed and scared stiff. He would come in and discover her secret! He’s her dad and she loved him and all, but she just wasn’t ready to lay her life out in front of him just yet. She stepped away from the door and concentrated on the spell. But she was panicked. It would never work.

"Just about, dad. One second, I’m…um…indecent." She giggled like a foolish teenage girl, cringing inside. Then she took a deep breath. A wave of serenity washed over her and she closed her eyes, muttering a few Latin words under her breath. Instantly, like in a movie, she was transformed to normal old Lasara again, her hair straight the way she had it and clothes normal. She released the air that was trapped in her lungs and tried to smile. It came out shakily, but that was the best she could for now. Then she flung the door open.

"Dad!" she cried, and rushed forward to envelope him in a hug. He chuckled and stepped back.

"How was your first day?" he asked smoothly. Lasara noticed he had an apron on and there were delicious smells wafted over the banister from below. Yum.

"It was great. I made a friend. In fact, she wants me to go over now for an hour or so. Could I…?" Lasara batted her long eyelashes at Anton, who smiled in defeat.

"Don’t look at me like that. Of course you can. Two hours tops, yeah? Don’t get into trouble. There’re quite a lot of gangs around here." Lasara grinned, nodded and took the steps down two at a time. "Oh, and nice outfit. Very fairy princess like." Lasara stiffened and looked down slowly. She was still in the dress. Oh god. It hadn’t worked as well as it should have. Her clothes weren’t back to normal. The rest of her was thank god. But not her clothes. She laughed forcedly.

"I was wondering how long it would take you! Thanks, dad, for noticing." She smiled up at her dad and raced upstairs. Quick as a flash, she was changed into her old clothes and was out the door. "Bye!!"

Will arrived in his bedroom grim. He really needed cheering up. Cheering up and a good talk to someone. He would go to Tina’s. he totally forgot Lasara would be there.
