OK, I needed to finish this up real quick cause I was getting bored, but it's not fair to leave you guys hanging...so here it is. comment please!!!
All too soon, she was done with crying. No, she thought to herself, no. I will go and explain to Will...she was interrupted out of her thoughts by the door crashing open. A small messenger boy, breathless with running, stood there. He shook his dirty blonde hair out of his green eyes and tried a weak smile. He looked terrified. Lasara wiped her eyes and smiled at him.

"Hello. What was it you wanted?" She asked kindly. The boy looked at her with big, tear filled eyes. He dithered and stumbled.

"Um...ah...well...the king wants you....and he said if you aren't there in ten minutes he was going to kill my puppy." He managed to choke out, in midst of his sobs. Ah. Her father. That explained it. She laid a comforting hand on the boys shoulder.

"He won't touch it. I promise. Now run along." Somewhat brightened by her words, the boy smiled widely and skipped off. Lasara stood up and straightened her dress. She knew where he would be. Quickly, she made her way to the throne room. Being only half fairy, she was looked down upon from most royalty. Including her father.

She knocked on the big, golden doors and entered. Bowing low, so her hair skimmed the floor, she addressed him.

"Your majesty, father, I have been summoned to address you." she said incredibly formally, cringing at how posh she sounded. She dared to look up at him. Graying feathers, graying skin, and graying taste in colors. He reminded her of a pig, stuffing his face at every opportunity.

"I trust you understand what I have asked you to grace us with your presence here?" he answered, slightly sarcastic. She would have liked to sigh or roll her eyes, but the guards would be on her in a moment.

"I do not know. I was not informed." She replied, perfectly polite. Her 'father' snorted.

"Well, the case is this. Because you are half fairy, you can either stay here and become full fairy or go to earth and become full human." There was an evil glint in his eyes. "Make your choice. And meet me here in half an hour." He said. She was dismissed. In a daze, she turned and made her way back to her room. The choice, to her, was not fairy or human, it was more Will or Adam.

She reached up to run her hands through her hair when she came to something. It was incredibly soft and sweet-smelling, resting on her shoulder. She picked it up, tears springing to her eyes. She already knew what it was. And she already had her decision.

Getting up again, she strode defiantly to the throne room. Without knocking, she burst in. The king, in middle of his twentieth snack, looked up at glared at her angrily, sneering.

"What do you want? I thought I told you-" he began. Lasara cut him off.

"I choose fairy." She interrupted, her eyes shining. The king was surprised, spluttering and choking like he had swallowed a chicken bone. That wouldn't have been too surprising. Then he regained composure.

"What? Do you understand what this means...?"

"I will eventually reign. And I'm prepared for it." She said strongly, her head high. As she watched, wondrously, her 'fathers' face softened. He even smiled a little.

"I knew you would make the right decision." He stated, and then went back to eating. Lasara knew, in some way, that she had won. Triumphantly, she strode right back out of the door and made her way to her room. She had finally realized Will was just a human crush - Adam was the one. She had felt strongly toward Will because he was, really, the first human boy to show any signs of true affection to her. But now, one problem remained...how to tell Adam.

But, as she found out a second later, that was already solved for her. She burst into her bedroom to find a smiling Adam there. With no self-restraint, she ran across to him and, silently, enveloped him in a hug. He pulled away and looked deep into her eyes.

"I heard you." he said, still gripping her hand tightly.

"How...?" She started, confused, but he put a finger to her lips.

"I've always been different, you know that. Sharpened senses. So I heard." He smiled. "Does this mean you're with me? You choose me?" he asked softly, his hand already halfway in her hair. She smiled gently at him.

"Damn right it does." She replied as he bent and kissed her with some force - causing the bottom of her stomach to fall away and fireworks to explode in her head. He gently bit her bottom of her lips and moved his hands down to her waist. It was beautiful. It was magical. It was love. At that moment, Lasara knew, without a shadow of doubt, that Adam would be the only guy featuring in the words of her song.

(Human World)

"You heard about that fine Californian girl?" Shark asked, his arm resting comfortably around Tina's waist.

"No." Will replied, trying not to sound too eager. He hadn't seen Lasara for ages and had been wondering where she was.

"She moved, man. To some other country or something." Shark, replied easily, as if he wasn't breaking his best mates heart with those very words. "And we're gonna bounce." He added, dragging a frowning Tina away, leaving Will alone. He was glad. He sank down on the stone school steps and let the devastation take over.

(Two years later)

"Hey, is this seat taken? It's just I'm new around here and I don't know many people..." Will looked up to see a pretty girl pulling out the chair beside him. He smiled - she reminded him of Lasara for some reason. She had a good vibe about her, and she seemed to be a vampire, too. So he let her sit there. Although no one else had been allowed for the time he'd spent without the love of his life. He was healing, slowly, over time, and was almost cured. As she sat, with a swish of her white skirt, just like Lasara's when he had on the first day he had met her, a sheet of paper fluttered from the pile in her folder and onto Will's shoes. He bent to pick it up, noticing how she was flushed.

"I'll have that back now, it's nothing, please..." she tried to grab it out of Will's hand but he laughed, holding it out of reach. He looked at the words and his heart skipped a beat. He looked up at the blushing, beautiful girl and smiled in wonder. Maybe he'd feature in the words of somebody else's song...
