Wooded Dreams

Nature poem...
Steal softly over dew damp grass
through the shadowed vales
stumble on a hidden wood
where timelessness tells tales...

Of drowsy days when sunlight drips
golden beads on glades
mottling jewels here and there
to decorate the blades...

Sleep softly in the arms of trees
protected and secure
dreaming cozy childhood dreams
innocent and pure...

Gather wooded memories
to spin a silken spell
to send you to this magic land
that children know so well..
