Women's Hockey World Cup 2010: Day 9

Hosts Argentina won their last pool game in the 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup to top the pool with a clean slate. Today we will have the last pool games, after which the tournament moves into the position deciding games.
Pool B completed their league games today in the Women's Hockey World Cup 2010. We now have final standings in this group. England and hosts Argentina go through to the semi-finals, while Korea, China, South Africa and Spain will play for places fifth to twelfth.

Today's games at the Women's Hockey World Cup 2010 will see the end of the league games. Pool A matches will be played: India vs New Zealand, Netherlands vs Japan, and Australia vs Germany. The game between Australia and Germany in particular will be interesting, not just because both teams are good, but also because this game is a virtual quarterfinal, and the winner will take position 2 in Pool A and go through to the semi-finals.
