Women are Tougher

On an average, women live six years longer than men. And 80 percent of individual celebrating their 100th birthday are female.

Women - who are prepared to cry and show their emotions much more readily than men - suffer far less from stress-related diseases. And are far more likely to ask for help if they need it.

Women have stronger immune systems than men - and are less likely to suffer from infections caused by bacteria or viruses.

Women are much better able to tolerate pain than are men.

Women are physically better equipped to survive in a physical emergency than are men. Being physically lighter means that women lose less body heat and need less food and oxygen to stay alive. If a man and a woman survive a plane crash or shipwreck, all other things being equal, the woman will have the better chance of surviving.

Women have better hearing, especially in the higher ranges and at 85 decibels and above, any sound seems twice as loud to them as it does to a male.

Women process information faster particularly in tasks (like neurosurgery) that require rapid choices.

Women excel in verbal skills and better at manual dexterity.

Women have better night vision, better hearing and are more sensitive to touch than men.

Men tend to suffer more from serious long-term, disabling illnesses than do women. They are one and half times as likely to die of cancer and twice as likely to die of heart disease.

Women have more powerful imaginations than men. And they have a better-developed sense of intuition. They are also more likely to be ruthless than are men.
