Women and Self Esteem: Stop Sabotaging Your Self

I hate to be the one to tell you that you are likely sabotaging the wonderful life that you really want. You are supposed to have what you want, but you are probably making a fundamental mistake with the way you are going about getting it. With a simple shift, you can start to attract more of what you want.
I listen to a lot of women talk about themselves and their lives. I am often dismayed by their habit of going over and over their problems and what they don't like about their lives or circumstances. Not realizing that they are sabotaging themselves, they continue to practice negative attraction.

A Life Analogy to Make it Clear

I like to use the analogy of a compost pile at the back of your yard.

You have taken your kitchen peelings out there every day for years. The path is grass-less, and even has a groove worn into the earth. (you can picture that, right?) You go over it and over it, again and again. You don't even think about it anymore, your subconscious just takes you there automatically.

Stay with me

Your brain works the same way. When you get into a habit of thinking the same thoughts over and over, again and again, you create a thought path. Your subconscious picks up on your habit and will take you to those same thoughts again and again without having to consciously choose them.

The Law of Attraction states that you get what you focus on whether you want it or not.

If your habitual thoughts are ones of health, happiness, hope, wealth and abundance, you will be inviting more and more of those into your life.

However, if your habitual thoughts are ones of lack, worry, stress and 'not-good enough', you will be inviting more and more of those into your life.

3 Keys to Stop the Sabotage

You really do need to stop talking and thinking about your problems.

Every time you talk or think about your problems, you are making the thought path in your mind more defined. Your subconscious will automatically take you over and over those thoughts.

Take a minute to think about how many times a day your attention is on what you don't like about your life. Is that what you want to keep attracting?

Take your focus off of what you don't want or like and put it on what you do like.

You need to create thought paths that feel good and will work for you rather than against you.
  • You can't attract abundance when focused on lack and limitation.
  • You can't attract health when focused on illness.
  • You can't attract positive circumstances when focused on problems.
Like moving the compost pile in the back yard to a new location, you will have to practice taking your new path, but day-by-day, your subconscious will pick up on your new pattern and start to go there automatically.

Don't give up before the miracle happens.

Sometimes when you try something new, it doesn't feel normal and let's face it, you already have so much going on in your life, that the last thing you want is something else to work on.

Well, I suggest you let go of something else instead... This is important stuff. This is worth the effort. You will be rewarded with more and more to celebrate in your life.

Once you know that you are sabotaging yourself with your negative thinking and focus on your problems, you can begin the process of change.

Give yourself the gift of attracting more of what you want into your life. Start putting your focus on what you want. Create a positive, well-worn and habitual mind path.

You are supposed to have any life experience you want.
Namaste.
