Wolf Fang

Fang seeks a way home.
Fang stretched his muscles, then began bouncing on his toes. He was still adapting to his new body. Thinking back Fang felt guilty about the child named Sirus, he was so eager to help him and yet Fang had tricked him. He tried comforting himself in knowing that Sirus would fade easily from this world unknowingly to himself.

People from Espir which was Fang's world normally banished criminals to this world. If you were deemed unfit or a danger to society, the Higher Court would strip you of your ability and erase your memories before placing you in this world's society. After randomly choosing a host they would place the criminal inside the vessel. Permanently closing the case and washing their hands of the criminal. Unlike those prior to Fang, he was not banished here. Someone had illegally opened a gate to this world and forced him through. The worst part was a human here was expecting him and had trapped him, until now. Michael barged in interrupting Fang from his thoughts.

Fang stopped stretching and looked up at the human walking in. Unfortunately it wasn't the same one Fang saw waiting for him on this side of the gate. Fang knew this one....it was Sirus's father. Most unexpected Fang thought, to his surprise he was unable to recall the humans name. Apparently, Fang could not access the child's memories, perhaps he was still traveling through Fangs own memories.
"What have you done Sirus!?" The man shouted in anger. Michaels' fist were balled
up and slightly shaking.

"Do you have any idea what you have done....?" Michael asked. Fang continued to look at the human, boredom obvious on his face. Michael's face filled with fury, he slowly walked forward violence clear in his eyes.
"You better answer me boy or you will be..." Michael was interrupted by Fang.
"I will be what human?" he scoffed slowly closing the gap between them. Fang released invisible threads of energy from his body. Completely encasing Michael and preventing him from further movement. A dumb look came over Michaels' face.
"I see you have noticed...and you are correct...Michael." Fang smiled wickedly. The child must have faded, Fang thought to himself.

"Your son is gone." Fang laughed.
Michael was nearly purple from the effort of trying to move his body.
"Where is my son!?" Michael exclaimed. An unexplained fury came over Fang. He stepped in front of the man and pressed his index finger on his chest.
"Your son! You!? Who had no idea who he was or what he wanted!?" Fang screamed, pressing his finger deeper into the mans chest.
"No Michael, you were never his father....just his provider." Fang said. A hurt look came over Michael's face.

"I....I..." Michael was unable to get any words out.
"YOU WHAT!?" Fang screamed in fury. Sparks blinked to life surrounding him momentarily in hues of yellow and blue. They quickly bounced of each other forming small fire works around his body. A dying spark caught Michael full on the chest and he was thrown violently across the small chamber. Michaels' body banged viciously against the concrete walls. A few of his bones cracked and he screamed in agony.
Fang came to stand near the crippled man and looked down on him.
"Be happy human, the pain you feel is temporary. This child....will never forget the pain you have put him through. Not here or in the next life." Fang reached out to touch the man, a deadly amount of charged up energy ran along his palms.
'Don't' a voice whispered. Fang froze.
'S..Sirus?' he thought to himself. No one answered. Unable to finish killing the man, Fang bolted out of the complex.

Fang walked amongst the humans in a busy part of the city. Finding an alley, he sat near a dumpster and made himself comfortable. Fang pondered the voice and his body's refusal to destroy the human man. Rather it was a fluke or not it was all meaningless, it just served for him to double his efforts into finding his way home. Fang knew he lacked the amount of energy out put to create a gate. Being depleted from his energy did not help either, the humans who had caged him and experimented on him continually did so. No, Fang had to find a different way out of this world.

Fang thought back on how he was sent to this world. All he could remember was feeling the 'Seers' energy vanish and not a minute later the gate opened and he was forced through. Fang was unsure of who forced him through but that human with the green eyes and blond hair....she was vaguely familiar. Fang's memory failed him and in his frustration his energy output increased. The human body was only able to hold a certain amount of energy, so Fang found himself forced to disburse it into the surrounding area. His body glowed a golden color and the alley lit up. Fang was surprised that the human structure could even maintain him, let alone allow use of his powers. Although it was minimal at least he wasn't defenseless.

After a few moments Fang picked up a faint signal coming from one of his energy bursts. The signal was like the one he used to escape, only a lot weaker. Luckily he had no need to release more, this system was not an AI security field. Fang concentrated on the small signal and was utterly surprised.

Finding himself in a steamy conversation between two lovers, his face blushed. Fang found himself feeling hot and he quickly left the private conversation. Eventually, finding himself an information database, he began digging up info on this society.

Fang was stunned, learning the human population was at 6 billion and counting he almost gave up hope. How could he find 1 measly woman? After a few more engine searches, he found his answer in the form of an interesting pop up link called "Terrorism Strikes Again". After a brief read Fang knew exactly how he was going to find his way home. He would simply demand it from this world, just as he did with the humans who trapped him. Only this time he would be able to defend himself and react if they did not comply.

After a few more web searches and some illegal hacking, Fang found out he was able to send a live feed to the entire world. Well, just those who sat in front of a screen. Whether it was a T.V., computer or cell-phone, it did not matter. Fang was going to hack them all simultaneously and send his "Terrorist Demands". After making up his mind on exactly what to threaten with, he began hacking his way into every mainframe that was up and running. From local TV stations to cell-phone towers he passed them all. After a few minutes he was finally able to link them all up with his signal. Fang patted his hair and brushed off his Black-T.

"Hello Humans, my name is Wolf Fang, and I am holding this beautiful city hostage..." Fang began, showing a small clip of the city from a local news chopper.
"Though most of you human folk may not understand, one of you definitely does. The facility you built is in this city as I'm sure you are as well. You have 1 hour to comply or I will reduce this city to rubble along with everyone in it. Please do not attempt anything foolish, I will not take responsibility for anyone hurt in a vain attempt to stop me. It is 7:59pm you have until 9:00pm, my signal will remain open. I await your reply." Fang said ending the link with his signal.

20 minutes later still in the alley, Fang received a warning from his signal. Apparently, some task force was tracking him down. Fang sighed and stood up from his comfy spot. As Fang waited for their arrival he decided to broadcast the imminent brawl. Maybe then they will give in faster, after all half their time was almost up. Fang linked up his signal with one very lucky news channel. He smiled into the transmitter and send the energy spark a few feet over him.

Two bulky vans came to a stop on either side of the alley Fang stood in. 2 dozen men poured out into the alley and strategically made their way over to him. Demanding him to put his hands up and lay on the floor every step of the way. After the twelfth time of Fang not complying they let off a warning shot.
Fang's energy shield came to life, protecting him from the single shot that came from one of the dozen guards standing behind him.
"Why'd you have to do that?" Fang asked smirking.
One of the guards broke rank and began firing wildly. Soon they all began firing their weapons at Fang.
"Fools!" Fang hissed. His eyes began to burn a fiery color and the yellow-bluish sparks surrounding him began to expand outward. As it drew closer to the guards some began turning back, others bravely stood there ground. Those who ran back watched in horror as there friends got slowly incinerated by the sparks that licked up against them.

50 minutes after the feed, Fang began his preparation for the destruction of the city. To his amazement his signal buzzed in an incoming message.

"Meet me at the complex" it read
Fang couldn't hold his laughter.

"Keep dreaming, meet me in the alley." he replied back. Knowing that his anonymous sender knew exactly what alley he spoke of.

55 minutes later, Fang looked up to see a cloaked figure standing where a Task Force van had previously sat.
"Are you really Fang?" she asked. Fang recognized the soft voice...
"Are you the one who will open the gate way?" Fang snapped. She walked closer to Fang.

"On one condition.." she whispered, slowly removing her hood. Fang's heart began pounding wildly, something about this woman was off. He thought to himself.
"You must take me with you Fang." she said looking at him eye to eye. Dirty blonde hair blew in the wind and bright green eyes mirrored Fang's human appearance.
Fang gritted his teeth in response.
"Please." she pleaded.
Fang couldn't think of another way out so he reluctantly agreed.
"How will you open the gate?" he asked. Something about the woman really made him uneasy.

"If I told you, you wouldn't need me." she answered. She reached into her cloak and pulled out a strange device. There were two outer circles with a small piece of metal connecting them.
"Release a small wave of energy directly to me please." She asked him. Fang raised his eyebrows and complied.
After Fang released she quickly threw the device in the air. It mingled with the energy and began to hover. The air surrounding the metal began to bend in on itself. As if it were being swallowed by the metal.
"What is it doing?" Fang asked. She looked at him and smiled.
"It's creating a tunnel to Espir." She replied merrily.

The device had completely disappeared now becoming a fist size mini black hole. It was consuming the air around itself, making more room for itself. As it continued to grow Fang focused on the green-eyed woman.
"Tell me, what is your name?" he asked her.
The woman bit her lower lip in response.
"I know you..." Fang said after a few seconds of silence.
"As well you should, I am your hosts mother." Susan answered.
"No, you are not..." Fang unwillingly replied.
Susan smiled in return.

"You are..." Fang began unable to finish the sentence.
"Terra, although I haven't gone by that name in ages." She finished.
Fangs head began to spin.
"But you were...banished." Fang grimaced.
"Not...exactly.." Susan said.
"You're the one that killed...all those peers." Fang said coldly.
"Yes, all for power I was never allowed to use." Susan said eyes filled with hate.
"It wasn't your to begin with." Fang hissed.
"Either way it changes now, I know exactly how to get my powers back." she said smiling evilly.

The portal was now completely open. Fang instantly brought his hand up, immobilizing Terra/Susan.
"I can't and won't allow you to follow me back." Fang promised. Terra sighed.
'I was afraid you would do this." she replied.
Fang began walking over to the portal. He flung Terra/Susan across the alley and stepped through the portal.

A world of pain entered Fangs body, he fell on his back unable to move.
"Now you too will be trapped here." Terra/Susan said smiling wickedly at the crumpled figure of Fang.
"Your soul will fade Fang, just like this woman's did when I took her over." She said.
"She fought me Fang. Did you know that? It was horrible I almost lost myself to her. Every time she saw this child you have masqueraded yourself as...." But Fang could no longer make out her words.
