Within and Without

There is no reward or punishment in life...only consequences. The wonders that surround you in the physical world spring from the recesses of your intellect. You are a treasure-house of power and potential. Turn within...
All that is within is also without,
The world mirrors consequence;
You perceive praise, earn clout,
In reflecting delivered sequence.

All that surrounds your being,
Is also within your heart's core;
It lurks in thought and in seeing,
Your dreams that come to fore.

You get only what you give,
Be careful as you act and ply;
For deed delivered does live,
With no space to ask, "why?".

Within and without is the game,
In life's unfurling warp of time;
You decide, condition and tame,
A nature designed to be sublime.

You are the master and the slave,
You forgive, you are the forgiven;
There is none else in earthly cave,
Off the endless war-path driven.
