With Broken Wings

The stages of emotion I went through after a traumatic experience... having my liberty taken from me....
Nothing left but pictures on the walls
Frames with heartless shadows, counting tears as they fall
Blacked out all the faces, showing what’s inside
Truths no longer meaningful it’s over ruled by lies

Blinded from the light, they only hear the rain
Being numb from most emotion they can only feel the pain
Looking from some answers, searching for the sky
Confusion overcoming, having Innocents’ denied

Insecure emotions, emptiness within
Everything is gone now, Furiation now begins
Silenced with violation some may all imply
That one with broken wings can not be brought to fly
