Wishing Doesn't Always Work

I have wished for a lot of things
Whether it was to have a boy like me
Or meeting my idol...
You should know who that is...

But, no matter how many times I wish
or no matter how hard I wish...
I never seem to get any closer
To what I really want...

I don't get it...
I've thrown all my coins in the fountain
I have prayed...

I've laid in my bed, awake at night
Just wondering and hoping
That soon I will get what I truly wish for

Maybe it's just that I don't deserve it
Or maybe I just need to wish more...
