Wishes

A love that can never work....
Tears run down my face
But we have moved on
I found a new crush
You've had a few
You smile at me
I just smile back
Were just friends now
And we both know it wouldn’t have worked
But we wished anyways
We were great
Almost had it to
But then we came back to reality
