Wisdom vs. Life

Wisdom is nothing but the timely application of common sense.
Wisdom is a divine act
It doesn’t simply include fact
But it is a timely application
Of required skills and passion.

Once from a cunning, evil usurer
An old man begged some loan
He was about to perish from hunger.
But condition the lender put on.

The old man had a daughter known for beauty and skills
The evil, cunning usurer put her as the bills.
He bonded to marry her that day
If the old man failed to pay.

Luck looked up on the poor man with a pale face
As the condition of the usurer became the case.
But the usurer decided to seem a bit kind
To show the people how soft was his mind.

He placed two black pebbles inside a bag
But to the people he said to have put two varied stones.
The one the girl chooses would be her tag.
The heart of the old man filled with sad moans.

But the girl was very clever indeed
And found the evil man was up to a bad deed.
She took out from the bag one single stone
But let it run to the river with a painful groan.

The river pebbles mixed with her pebble.
Which one she took, how can one tell?
Now before this game of luck
It was mentioned by the usurer
That he placed a pebble white and a black
The girl now advised something with a mutter.

The pebble in the bag should be looked at
To find out the pebble that she had.
The pebble in the bag was of course black
That proved that she hadn’t chosen black.
Thus the clever girl solved the case
And the usurer left with a pale face.

Wisdom is, thus, nothing more
Than the sense and ability that dwells our core.

Of course.
Yes.
I have no opinion.
No.
Never.
