Winter

Winter for lovers...
Sharp gusts find narrow vents
To slip icy spikes past all security
Slippery frozen shards nestle uninvited
In chambers reserved for YOU
Your breath…
Thawed crystal water,
Mirrors dancing flames of
Our mysterious molten mettle,
Secretively sealing out the cold.
