Winter in the Night

Title kind of says it...
Walking in an air so crisp
Sauntering with breath in sight
Darkness all around me hangs
This is winter in the night

The snow crunches under my steps
As I move without an aim
Hide my hands within my pockets
From the burn without a flame

The moon and stars light up the white
The sparkles politely against the night
A breath taken deep can feel so right
Your eyes are dancing, lit up bright

Of every breathing thing in sight
An occasional fog that proves the life
The cold and the night are so natural
As the darkness embraces its wife
