WikiLeaks a non-profit organization started by Julian Assange, an Australian software programmer and an internet activist. He launched the WikiLeaks website in order to leak important classified information, mostly diplomatic cables and governmental documents. There are many others from various countries who also work for the website, but their identities are not known. The founder believes that such information needs to be exposed to the public and people should know how governments hide facts from citizens. He has been arrested because of a number of charges in the United Kingdom.
