The Wii Sports Resort, a video game console released by Nintendo has received a good response the world over. This console includes 12 different games however, there are many underlying modes to these games, which increase the number up to 20. The sheer number and variety of games incorporated in Wii Sports Resort makes it the most sought after gaming products in the market. Archery: Playing the archery game just like table tennis is a great experience with the Wii Sports Resort. Remote is used the same way as the bow. The nunchuk on the remote is pulled back just like a bow-string. The MotionPlus feature helps in aiming at the target quite accurately. One can say that, it is the best form of virtual archery game one can play on a gaming console.

Swordsplay: While swinging a sword, the natural movements are well supported by the crisp and sharp MotionPlus accessory of Wii remote. The one-to-one level control over the remote provided by the MotionPlus adapter makes this game exciting to play. The game of swordsplay comes in three forms i.e. duel, speed slice and showdown.

• Duel: In this form, one has to knock his opponent over the edge of the platform on which the battle takes place.
• Speed Slice: In this form of swordsplay, one has to swing the sword in order to cut the objects that he faces.
• Showdown: This mode of swordsplay game is the one where the player faces a number of enemies. The player can take 3 blows at the most, before getting killed.

Wakeboarding: To play the game of wakeboarding in Wii Sports Resort, the remote has to be held horizontally and moved sideways. The remote should be given an upward flick as you encounter the waves. One needs to have sharp reflexes in order to land on the board in a proper manner.

Canoeing: The game of canoeing is more enjoyed in multiplayer mode than in single player mode. One has to keep swinging the remote from one side to the other for the canoe to move in the right direction. Swinging the paddle/remote from side-to-side in a frantic manner can be really fun.

Frisbee: It is an interesting Wii game that can be played in different modes. In one of the modes, the Frisbee has to be thrown in such a manner that it takes a curved path, hits the bonus balloon and finally a dog catches it.
