Why the Size of Your Waist Can Save Your Life
Waist measurement exceeding 40 inches for Men and 35 inches for Women is associated with substantial health risk. Where you carry your weight is even more important than how much weight you carry. For Men, a waist measurement exceeding 37 inches is associated with potential diseases.and a waist measurement exceeding 40 inches is associated with substantial health risk. For Women, a waist measurement exceeding 32 inches is associated with potential diseases and a waist measurement exceeding 35 inches is associated with substantial health risk. This imbalance called metabolic syndrome can also, on the long run, increase the unusual concentration of vaso constriction factors, coagulation and uric acid in the blood.This situation is well designed for high blood pressure, thrombosis, gall-bladder stones and gout.
EXERCISE AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
It is well advised to remain active even if you don’t have to loose weight. Exercise can only be beneficial because of its impact on the body mass as well as on the muscular mass. The size of muscular mass can increase the energetics linked to the functioning of our metabolism ( energy needed for breathing, digesting, etc.) and promote the usage of fat reserves.
It is the reason why it is well advised to be active for 30 to 40 minutes a day. This time length can be shortened in smaller periods of 10 to 15 minutes in different fashions in all kind of physical activities. Finally, it is also well advised to reduce alcohol intake , fatty food and high level of carbs food like chips, french fries, cakes etc. Your belly can only get slimmer and you will enjoy a better health.
