Jamie meets Renie.
JAMIE
Jamie signed at the touch of something soft and cold. She quickly sat up and glanced around. The forest was covered in light white snow. She looked around for Michelle or jimmy but she didn't see them. ''Michelle'' she yelled standing up and looking around. She noticed that her clothes were white and that she was wearing a necklace. She stared at the shiny light green crystal at the end of it then let go of it. ''Josh'' she yelled and looked for him. She started to walk toward the trees when a voice murmured ''He's not here''. She turned around expecting to face someone but nobody was there. She squinted and said ''Who's there''. ''Nobody's here but us'' the voice murmured. ''Where's here''. ''You don't remember you've been here before with Josh''. Jamie eyes widen and she whispered ''How do you know that''. ''Because this is my world'' the voice murmured behind her. She quickly span around and looked and faced the voice.
It was a kid probably about fifteen with long blond hair and a magnificent crystal, she extended her hand'' I'm Renie and you must be Jamie''. ''How do you know my name and where am I ''Jamie asked shaking her hand. ''I know you from Josh and this is the spirit world''. ''The spirit world so Josh is here right, where is he'' she blurted and stared around. Renie frowned and tapped her shoulder ''I'm sorry Jamie but Josh is not here''. ''What do you mean ''she sobbed'' This is the spirit world you come here when you die and Josh is dead''. Renie shook her head ''But when the crystal is broken you die''. ''No'' she screamed as she shook Renie's hand off ''There has to be something you could do please'' she begged.
Renie smiled and tilted her chin up with her finger. ''He risked his life for you and that values his power and yours''. ''What is the power'' Jamie asked. ''The power is love and yours and his are powerful'' she murmured and pulled out a glowing white ball and handed it Jamie. ''What is it'' she asked holding it. ''It's his life he's earned it now make a wish'' Renie smiled. Jamie smiled and said ''I wish this was over'' she murmured and released the ball. It glowed brightly and floated above their heads. ''What's it doing'' Jamie whispered as it glowed even brighter. Renie smirked and said'' It's granting your wish''. Jamie covered her eyes as it shined brighter, the light reminded her of a hospital light, she closed her eyes and walked toward it wishing nothing more than to see Josh and Michelle. She hesitated for a minute and stepped through.
MICHELLE
''Jamie'' Michelle screamed as she hugged her sister's body close to her. She sobbed as Jamie lay their unmoving. She quietly whispered ''I love you sis''. She gently sat her head on the ground and cried. She glanced at Jamie one more time and noticed that the body was fading away. ''Jamie'' she murmured and touched the body but her hands went right through her. Her body faded then disappeared. Michelle fell back and scooted toward the fire staring at what just happened. The fire dimmed then faded out. She quickly looked around and noticed that everything was disappearing. The dark trees faded and disappear and so did the grass. Michelle hugged her knees together and closed her eyes. She put her hands together but didn't feel them. She gasped as she saw they were fading away. She closed her eyes and counted to herself. ''10'' She whispered and continued counting ''9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1''.
JAMIE
The bright light burned her eyes it was like she was looking at the sun for too long without her sun glasses. She carefully blinked twice then opened them. She slowly sat up and gasped,she was in a hospital room. She tried to get out of the bed but there was a sharp pain in her chest. She moved the blanket that covered her and felt the bandage that covered her chest. She started to peel of the bandage when a hand stopped her. She looked up and smiled ''Michelle'' she murmured and hugged her. Michelle hugged her and winced at the pain in her shoulder ''Hey, you're okay I thought you were dead''. ''How's your shoulder'' Jamie asked as Michelle sat on the bed. ''It is better, but I should be high on painkillers any minute'' she laughed and Jamie joined in. ''Where's Josh'' Jamie whispered. Michelle stared at her then said ''Josh is'' she stopped as Jamie looked down and started crying. ''Right here'' a voice announced.
Jamie looked up and smiled at Josh. There was a string of bandages wrapped around his head. He walked toward her and hugged her. She let go of him then looked at his face. She kissed him and felt a hot blaze of fire from his perfectly shaped lips. He leaned away and said ''I love you Jamie colt''. ''I love you Josh Mitchell''. They kissed again then stopped when Michelle signed'' Break it up you guys make sick'' she groaned. They laughed then the nurse walked in'' What are you two doing out of bed. Those pain killers are going to kick in few minutes''. Michelle hugged Jamie and walked out, Josh leaned in toward Jamie and kissed her head. She giggled then noticed the tattoo of a light blue crystal on his neck. ''Where did that tattoo come from''. He smiled and said ''Renie, and you have one too''. She smirked and said ''It's over right''. ''It's over'' he kissed her head again then walked out. She leaned back in the bed and smiled it was finally over, she had josh and Michelle Danny and Rachael were gone and she was happy finally everything was just right.
But sometimes you just had to ask why did this have to happen, Why did josh have to die, why did Danny have to come after me, why did people have to die. The real question you have to ask is why me.
