Why Make Money Online or Work At Home?

Looking at the title of this article, I'm sure most of us has answers to that question. Answers such as, to make big money with minimal effort, to have more personal time to spend with your family, to achieve financial freedom, to live the life of your dreams, etc.

Yes, indeed, all these are exactly the reasons why people attempt to make money online or work at home. Notice I used the word 'attempt'. This is because, I realized, from people around me, that many people usually get attracted to a 'make money online opportunity' at first but quit later because of the lack of commitment.

Making money online or working at home does not mean totally zero effort. As the saying goes, "there's no such thing as a free lunch". Of course, one has to at least put in some effort in order to make money online.

From personal experience, I would say that there is a positive correlation between the amount of effort you put in and the amount of returns you gain, i.e. the more effort or work you put into your Internet venture, the more money you will be able to earn/make. However, this also depends on where your efforts are directed at. If you are constantly working hard but are not doing the 'right' things, then things will not work out too.

So why do people still want to make money online or work at home when work still has to be done? Well, I guess working at home gives you more freedom, as in, you can work whenever you feel like it and put in the amount of effort you feel like putting in. In other words, you are your own boss. You control what is to be done, how you want things to be done, when you want to do it, etc.
