Why Goji Berries Are So Terrific

Many People want a food that is nutritious but at the same time good for you. Goji berries do that. This great goji berry is stuffed full of minerals, amino acids and a few things that are not found in any other known food source on the planet.
Goji berries are an amazing food product, and have the highest ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) of any known food. This astounding number is 25300. Compare that to a berry like blue berries, which only have 2400. They can be obtained from a number of online retailers. Surprisingly, these berries are related to products like potatoes and tomatoes. When there is a liver deficiency in the body, the blood qi (vital energy) doesn't reach the upper parts of the body, resulting in blurred vision. These berries clear the eyes and reduces tenderness around the eye sockets and blood circulates better and nourishes the liver. They are also amazingly tasty.

Plant some berries in your green house and Watch them sprout! In a year or two you will be able to report fresh berries to serve to friends at a reception. With dry berries, you can simmer them and drink it as a tea. Or soak them overnight with other fruit, or make your own drinks! The goji is an amazingly versatile fruit. Western medicine is sometimes unaware of the benefits of Asian plants and berries -- but the health benefits of goji berries have been known in the East for centuries. Juice from the berries are the most popular drink in many Asian countries, and wise Americans have been known to come back from vacations bearing cases of the magical drink. Just watch out if you try planting your berries to make your own -- they grow at an amazing rate! You’ll be the hero of your neighborhood bearing the fruit at gatherings and parties. Make a jam from the berries, or a jelly, and give them away for holidays or birthday parties. You simply can’t go wrong with the magic of the berry. Consider the berries in your breakfast cereal! The berries nourish the blood and blood nourishes the skin, making it perfect to treat skin conditions like dry skin and rashes. They also contain betaine, a common ingredient found in skin-care products. It truly is a wonderful mystery.
