Why are Oceanside Restaurants so Cool and Noteworthy?
If you are wondering why Oceanside Restaurants are so cool, this is your chance to find out right here. Discover the untold secret of Dining at Oceanside Restaurants and see if it's for you or not.
I've been a resident of Oceanside Ca. since I was just 19 years old and right now I'm 39 which means I've lived out here just over 20 years now. And being Self-Employed for so many years I've personally been fortunate enough to try out just about every place to eat in Oceanside. But if you don't live out here or understand the culture that is specific to this area, you probably won't appreciate why I'm such a die hard fan of this city and why I value my dining experience in Oceanside so much.
Oceanside Restaurants Advantage: Breathe the Ocean Salt Air
A lot of good Restaurants in Oceanside are either right on or right off Pacific Coast Highway which is the main strip of Highway that runs parallel to the Coast but about 1/4 mile away from it. Just about every cross street to PCH will lead you right to the Ocean. About 15 years ago it was called Hill Street, and the city changed the name to Pacific Coast Highway to attract Tourists with money. Any Oceanside Restaurant you visit in this area, you can expect to breathe the salt air coming right from the Ocean, especially if there's a small wind.
Oceanside Restaurants Advantage: Best Climate in the World
Please don't take my word for it, and I honestly forgot who it was but even in the great sunny weather climate of Southern California, the City of Oceanside sports some of the best weather even in this region. A weather study was done on Oceanside based on Latitude and Longitude, and it was determined that it had the most stable weather in the entire world.
All of Southern California is really nice but Oceanside is exceptional on this front due to it's beautiful weather. So when you visit Oceanside Restaurants, expect the weather at best to be perfect and worst to be a rainy day you can easily go out in and still enjoy to the fullest. The weather in Oceanside rarely gets below 40 degrees.
Oceanside Restaurants Advantage: Diverse but Friendly Culture
The culture in Oceanside is very diverse. I've seen it for over 20 years. You've got the US Marines, Pacific Islanders and other cultures all living in this area. A lot of people complain about the price of living out here, and yes while California in general is pricey, Oceanside, Ca. isn't any pricier than most other cities in Cali. Not when you understand the fact that the culture out here as a whole is very accepting and laid back, so when you're eating in Oceanside Restaurants you'll notice that it's usually very easy to just say Hello to someone or ask them the time or where something is.
Oceanside Restaurants Advantage: Variety of Dining Options and Great Service
The cool thing about Oceanside Restaurants is that they know no boundaries. You can find Oceanside Mexican Restaurants, Greek Restaurants, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Pizza Joints, Italian, Indian and just about any type of food you'd want. And in the Rancho Del Oro district, the upscale area of Oceanside which I call Yuppieville, by where Oceanside Blvd. crosses College Blvd., they've build a new Restaurant Strip Mall with 6 more places to eat. It was finished in late 2008.
Some of the coolest Oceanside Restaurants I've eaten at and thoroughly enjoyed are Upper Crust Pizza, Pacific Grocery and Restaurant, Harbor House Cafe, Grubby's, Angelos, Diegos and Monterey Bay Cannery which is right on the Harbor. On a side note from Highway 101 if you take it south it will lead you right into Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas and eventually LaJolla. It's probably one of the most scenic, beautiful coast rides you'll ever take, and I guarantee after doing this our culture will start to sink in and that's not a bad thing at all imho.
