With money as tight as it is these days many are jumping on the affiliate marketing bandwagon. Thousands of beginners marketing affiliate products join the ranks each day. I have notice beginners marketing in the hardest ways. Building gargantuan websites, running profitless pay per click campaigns, building dozens of mini sites to launch their Adsence advertising accounts and other schemes to try to hit the big time. Not that the aforementioned strategy can't work and are all that difficult but anything can be complicated if you don't fully understand what you are getting yourself into.

If the Newbies were to slow down and concentrate on their learning affiliate marketing while focusing on one or two simple techniques at a time they would see results and become successful affiliates. The money would be slow at first but it would continue to increase as the beginners marketing skills matured. It is important to learn from other successful affiliates and the best ways to do this is by joining an online affiliate community, course or school.

Affiliate marketing at its simplest is sending someone to a merchants sales page, recommending or promoting someone else's product for a percentage of the sales. The easiest way to accomplish this is by direct linking. Some have come to frown on this method as old fashion or as if it is not complicated enough or only those with no skill lower themselves to this lowly technique. Even Google has banned using affiliate links on their Adwords pay per click advertising platform.

I'm am here not only to tell you that direct linking is NOT dead or uncool but also tell you a slick way to implement it that is so easy a caveman (sorry caveman) can do it AND even Google will not penalize you if you choose to use Adwords doing this.

Register a way cool domain. One that will blend in with the product you are promoting. If you are promoting www.XYZ.com then register a way cool domain like www.GetXYZ.com or www.MyXYZ.com. Make sure it is a .com because people remember .coms before all the other extensions. Only register the domain, do not purchase anything else, no hosting or other domain extensions or add ons. Go directly to the check out.

Once the domain is yours have it forwarded (this is free) to your merchants sales page using your affiliate link. To tidy things up and make them professional be sure to enable masking. Think about it for a minute. Most merchants spend thousands of dollars getting their sales pages to be high converting power houses. Could any beginners marketing do better? Not a chance. AND all 100% of the traffic reaches this high converting sales page. No one is lost at a pre-sell or landing page.

The beginners marketing in this simple and easy fashion can now dedicate their time to learning affiliate marketing skills such as article marketing, forum posting or any other free method to drive traffic to their new way cool domain. I like to refer to this simple technique as the Newbie Jump Start method. It will even work in Google Adwords because you will be advertising your way cool domain and not an affiliate link.
