Whose tomb is it? Jesus’? or Osiris’?

Put Jesus in a tomb! Dismember the Divine! Throw allover the place the members of Massacred Osiris! What an achievement! It will all result to the rise of Horus. And Horus will castigate mercilessly, exterminating Guilty Seth! Ultimately, Seth is you….
Whose tomb is it? Jesus’? or Osiris’?
More than the real Truth about Jesus what apparently matters to vast masses allover the world is the personal justification of their beliefs that are mostly based on ignorance, and the satisfaction of their egopathic complexes. Placing Jesus in a tomb, the masses of dehumanized hysterics bear evidence to the utmost expansion of Phariseism in our days. This was known only too well to Wise Men since the Ancient Egyptian times. Except, Osiris’ dismemberment was known to end up to a Most Severe Castigation. By contributing to the desecration of the Divine, dehumanized mankind exposes itself to unavoidable extermination.

A Conference, a TV Programme, a Book, and an Excavations Report

The News Conference held in New York on February 26 proved to be an opportunity for numerous mass media members to photograph two ossuaries that had been excavated before … 27 years in Talbiot Jerusalem. According to their story, they must have held the bones of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

Why was the great news not revealed at the days of Leonid Brezhnev?

Probably because it was not news at all; either few people would pay attention or the key elements of the story had not been fabricated.

The conference was organized by a producer whose relationship with History, Archeology and History of Religions is none; as it pleased his preconceived idea and outrageous fancy, he came up with an expensive documentary film to claim that scientists may have found …. the lost tomb of Jesus Christ and that Jesus and Mary Magdalene may have had a son named Judah. Geared to promote the obnoxious documentary, the conference was a prefab event for social dazzle. The producer did not unveil his financiers, and this was not a question to be asked by the prearranged media representatives.

As a matter of fact, despite widespread ridicule from authoritative scholars, ''The Lost Tomb of Jesus'' documentary drew more than 4 million viewers when it aired on the Discovery Channel on March 4. Quite unfortunately, the film did not reveal any discovery, and if we consider any archeological excavation as a discovery, this biased discovery was old, and consequently obsolete.

The film was mainly based on a scheming book entitled ''The Jesus Family Tomb'' that has rocketed to sixth place on The New York Times nonfiction best-seller list! Written by two non-specialists, the book diverges considerably from the scientific report that was originally composed.

In this series of biased communicating vessels, one has to deal with progressive stages of alterations of the original truth, which - from a scholar to the average unspecialized public - help transfigure the ‘white’ into ‘black’, proceeding data through numerous, confusing, intermittent variations of ‘gray’.

What truly happened then?

In 1980, during foundation work for a residential building Jerusalem, 5 km in the south of Jerusalem’s Old City, a tomb was surveyed, and various artifacts, including 10 ossuaries, were removed by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). The salvage excavation unearthed little that was considered especially noteworthy at the time, and all the significant details have been included in a report published in the IAA journal ‘Atiqot.

The authoritative archaeological report clearly indicates that the tomb had been disturbed in the distant past and that parts of skeletons were scattered in the cave. We actually don’t know whether these were placed in the ossuaries to facilitate their removal from the tomb. In fact, the IAA archaeological report notes that at least 35 bodies had been buried in this grave, indicating that it was a multigenerational family tomb.

We can be sure that this tomb is a first-century CE tomb, as ossuaries were used only in the period from 30 BCE. until just before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE.

Following standard practices of archeological teams allover the world, the IAA team removed the bones from the ossuaries in 1980 and handed them over to the religious authorities for reburial. No record appears to have been kept of the exact contents of the bone boxes or of how many skeletons were contained in each. This is all that is factual.

Where fiction begins…

At a certain moment, one of the aforementioned book’s two authors started expressing an odd interest for this otherwise ordinary archeological case. He embarked on an investigation of his own. Misinterpreting an inscription on one of the ossuaries, he had it easy to conclude that the tomb was Mary Magdalene’s!

Quite surprisingly, the inscription reads in Greek, not Hebrew or Aramaic, and this proves that that woman belonged to a Greek – speaking family; however, this point has been persistently overlooked by the book author and even more so by the documentary film team. The Greek name, written in Genitive, is Mariamenou; it is followed by another name, Mara. If anything, the inscription is sufficient enough to demonstrate that we have nothing to do with a Jewish, religious family like those encountered in the New Testament narratives. Yet, the ossuaries have been ‘identified’ as belonging to the mother of Jesus, and "Judas, the son of Jesus", a totally absurd assessment.

The self-styled researcher and author, and his mysterious associates arranged for mitochondrial DNA tests to be performed on material from the ossuaries they associated with Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Quite disappointingly, the tests revealed no maternal relationship. Then, it was malignantly suggested that they must have belonged to husband and wife. As the team felt free to disreputably assign identities to irrelevant skeletons and bones, it was suggested that we had to do with Jesus’ mother and the supposed son of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

As the target was indirectly revealed, namely ‘the historical proof of the Merovingian descent from Jesus’, the falsification was complete, and ……no further DNA tests were performed anymore!

The "Tomb" of Jesus

For the Jews
What is it wrong with a Tomb for Jesus? Going beyond the apostate Free Masonic theory of the Merovingian descent from Jesus that is a shameful and preposterous, later compilation, one must focus rather on the real character of the fabrication. For the followers of the Talmudic Judaism, Jesus died and was buried somewhere. Esssenes, Sadducees, Pharisees and Zealots – all four historical schools of Judaism of the middle of the 1st century CE (of which only the Pharisees survived) – would accept that Jesus died and was buried. Apart from a general belief, a historical Jew like Benjamin of Tudela would pay little interest to the suggestion of finding / identifying Jesus’ eventual tomb. It would mean nothing to him. Probably because for genuine Jews, the subject is of no relevance.

According to Christianity
For Christians, Jesus’ body was actually buried in a tomb; but only for almost three days. Then, he was resurrected. No chance to find possible bones and skeletons! Let alone, those supposedly belonging to Jesus’ wife and/or son, concepts totally contradictory to Patristic Literature.

Within the Ahmadiyah Muslims’ faith system
For the Ahmadiyah Muslims, Jesus was not crucified; at the very moment of the attempt, another ;person’s body replaced miraculously Jesus, who disappeared from that spot, only to appear to friends and relatives and then travel along with his mother faraway. The Ahmadiyah theory offers a historical plausibility; at the times of Jesus, the Roman Empire and the Parthian Empire of the Arsacid dynasty were in friendly terms. Speaking Aramaic, the international language of his days, Jesus could move from NW Africa to China and from Siberia to Yemen without feeling as ‘foreigner’. He did travel only until Kashmir, and there died. One can visit his tomb, and that of his mother. For the Ahmadiyah Muslims – terribly persecuted in the tyrannical state of Pakistan – there cannot be a tomb of Jesus anywhere in Judea.

According to Islam
For the outright majority Muslims, Jesus never died; transferred into a Divine form of existence, as Elijah and Enoch for the Hebrews, the Jews and the Christians, Jesus disappeared from the visible, material world, only to reappear at the End of Time, when in alliance with Islamic Messiah (Al Mahdi) will liberate the world from the forces of the Antichrist (Masih Dejjal). Apparently, for the majority of Muslims, there were never a ‘Tomb" of Jesus – even not for a second.

The Manichaeist Faith in Jesus
There are no Manichaeists anymore; yet, the very elaborate and widely diffused system of the great Persian philosopher Mani offered Jesus a very particular position, and made him known in remote regions as the coast of China and the littoral of Algeria. It was a double position; there was an evil Jesus, Messiah of the Jews, who died disreputably, and a diachronic Jesus – Light, Aeon of the Manichaean Doctrine. For the former Jesus, there was apparently a "Tomd". The latter Jesus is diachronic.

The Modern Tomb of Jesus
The absence or presence of tomb in the historical beliefs is totally irrelevant of the present effort to prefabricate a …’new’ tomb of Jesus. The attempt of a gang of falsifiers is not related to religious belief, faith narrative or theoretical approach. In the name of exploration, discovery and knowledge, it spreads the worst sort of darkness the Mankind encountered in its millennia long history.

It is an effort to demolish the most human trait and belief: the reliance on the Transcendental Supreme Reality. What is targeted is the inherent human instinct and belief that the material reality is a ‘small’, a ‘low’, a ‘fake’ reality if compared to the Transcendental, Non-Material Absolute Reality and Existence.

In the name of humanizing our lives, people dehumanized the Human Being. By eradicating the spiritual dimension, a force led to the formation of animal humans without other perspective than the materialistic desires and the Death at the end. A human, secret, malignant and devious force, an apostate society.

The parts of the puzzle are being completed in our days with the creation of a little puppet Jesus
- who did not walk on the lake, but on a wooden stick hidden under the surface of the water,
- who did not render the feeling of sight to the blind man, but just washed the eyes of the guy, and
- who could not be resurrected, because we found his buried bones in the ‘tomb’.

Apparently the ‘tomb’ becomes the supreme symbol, the sublime target of the apostate society that bestializes the Mankind to spread Death allover the place; these masterminds need a Dead Jesus, a Dead Human Being, effectively a Dead God. That is why they try with such dedication, with such persistence, and with such merchandized eloquence to convince the minified mankind that even God is dead.

They attempt it now, but we knew them and we expected them to do so before thousands of years. It is strange that they want to cut, to slice, to chop the Divine; theirs was a long itinerary. The Ancient Egyptian Wise Elders called them ‘Seth’ after their supreme leader (rendered in Ancient Greek as Typhon). They narrated Seth’s deeds to the Ancient Greek travelers in the Nile Valley. Plutarch wrote down the story in Ancient Greek; in his Peri Isidos kai Osiridos, he described precisely the story of the dismemberment and the burial of the Divine Essence that is entrenched within every Human Being: this Divine Essence was called in Ancient Egyptian Wser. Its real meaning signifies the ‘Well Being", the positive way of (non material) existence. Wser was hellenized as Osiris. It does not designate a separate god, as the polytheistic version of the Egyptian religion personified aspects and qualifications of the divine, as described in the Egyptian Mythical Code, only in later periods. The terrible dismemberment of the Divine Nature within the Human Being had / will end up in an atrocious way: for the perpetrators of the crime – only. This is the reality of what we are seeing in front of our eyes.

The Diachronic Tomb of Osiris

(We present hereby a modern English translation: http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Plutarch/Moralia/Isis_and_Osiris*/A.html)

One of the first acts related of Osiris in his reign was to deliver the Egyptians from their destitute and brutish manner of living. This he did by showing them the fruits of cultivation, by giving them laws, and by teaching them to honour the gods. Later he travelled over the whole earth civilizing it without the slightest need of arms, but most of the peoples he won over to his way by the charm of his persuasive discourse combined with song and all manner of music.
………………………………………………

During his absence the tradition is that Typhon attempted nothing revolutionary because Isis, who was in control, was vigilant and alert; but when he returned home Typhon contrived a treacherous plot against him and formed a group of conspirators seventy-two in number. He had also the co-operation of a queen from Ethiopia who was there at the time and whose name they report as Aso. Typhon, having secretly measured Osiris's body and having made ready a beautiful chest of corresponding size artistically ornamented, caused it to be brought into the room where the festivity was in progress. The company was much pleased at the sight of it and admired it greatly, whereupon Typhon jestingly promised to present it to the man who should find the chest to be exactly his length when he lay down in it. They all tried it in turn, but no one fitted it; then Osiris got into it and play down, and those who were in the plot ran to it and slammed down the lid, which they fastened by nails from the outside and also by using molten lead. Then they carried the chest to the river and sent it on its way to the sea through the Tanitic Mouth. Wherefore the Egyptians even to this day name this mouth the hateful and execrable. Such is the tradition. They say also that the date on which this deed was done was the seventeenth day of Athyr, when the sun passes through Scorpion, and in the twenty-eighth year of the reign of Osiris; but some say that these are the years of his life and not of his reign.
…………………………………..

Isis, when the tidings reached her, at once cut off one of her tresses and put on a garment of mourning in a place where the city still bears the name of Kopto. Others think that the name means deprivation, for they also express "deprive" by means of "koptein." But Isis wandered everywhere at her wits' end; no one whom she approached did she fail to address, and even when she met some little children she asked them about the chest. As it happened, they had seen it, and they told her the mouth of the river through which the friends of Typhon had launched the coffin into the sea. Wherefore the Egyptians think that little children possess the power of prophecy, and they try to divine the future from the portents which they find in children's words, especially when children are playing about in holy places and crying out whatever chances to come into their minds.

They relate also that Isis, learning that Osiris in his love had consorted with her sister through ignorance, in the belief that she was Isis, and seeing the proof of this in the garland of melilote which he had left with Nephthys, sought to find the child; for the mother, immediately after its birth, had exposed it because of her fear of Typhon. And when the child had been found, after great toil and trouble, with the help of dogs which led Isis to it, it was brought up and became her guardian and attendant, receiving the name of Anubis, and it is said to protect the gods just as dogs protect men.

Thereafter Isis, as they relate, learned that the chest had been cast up by the sea near the land of Byblus and that the waves had gently set it down in the midst of a clump of heather. The heather in a short time ran up into a very beautiful and massive stock, and enfolded and embraced the chest with its growth and concealed it within its trunk. The king of the country admired the great size of the plant, and cut off the portion that enfolded the chest (which was now hidden from sight), and used it as a pillar to support the roof of his house. These facts, they say, Isis ascertained by the divine inspiration of Rumour, and came to Byblus and sat down by a spring, all dejection and tears; she exchanged no word with anybody, save only that she welcomed the queen's maidservants and treated them with great amiability, plaiting their hair for them and imparting to their persons a wondrous fragrance from her own body. But when the queen observed her maidservants, a longing came upon her for the unknown woman and for such hairdressing and for a body fragrant with ambrosia. Thus it happened that Isis was sent for and became so intimate with the queen that the queen made her the nurse of her baby. They say that the king's name was Malcander; the queen's name some say was Astartê, others Saosis, and still others Nemanûs, which the Greeks would call Athenaïs.

They relate that Isis nursed the child by giving it her finger to suck instead of her breast, and in the night she would burn away the mortal portions of its body. She herself would turn into a swallow and flit about the pillar with a wailing lament, until the queen who had been watching, when she saw her babe on fire, gave forth a loud cry and thus deprived it of immortality. Then the goddess disclosed herself and asked for the pillar which served to support the roof. She removed it with the greatest ease and cut away the wood of the heather which surrounded the chest; then, when she had wrapped up the wood in a linen cloth and had poured perfume upon it, she entrusted it to the care of the kings; and even to this day the people of Byblus venerate this wood which is preserved in the shrine of Isis.

Then the goddess threw herself down upon the coffin with such a dreadful wailing that the younger of the king's sons expired on the spot. The elder son she kept with her, and, having placed the coffin on board a boat, she put out from land.

Since the Phaedrus river toward the early morning fostered a rather boisterous wind, the goddess grew angry and dried up its stream.

In the first place where she found seclusion, when she was quite by herself, they relate that she opened the chest and laid her face upon the face within and caressed it and wept. The child came quietly up behind her and saw what was there, and when the goddess became aware of his presence, she turned about and gave him one awful look of anger. The child could not endure the fright, and died. Others will not have it so, but assert that he fell overboard into the sea from the boat that was mentioned above. He also is the recipient of honours because of the goddess; for they say that the Maneros of whom the Egyptians sing at their convivial gatherings is this very child. Some say, however, that his name was Palaestinus or Pelusius, and that the city founded by the goddess was named in his honour. They also recount that this Maneros who is the theme of their songs was the first to invent music. But some say that the word is not the name of any person, but an expression belonging to the vocabulary of drinking and feasting: "Good luck be ours in things like this!", and that this is really the idea expressed by the exclamation "maneros" whenever the Egyptians use it.

In the same way we may be sure that the likeness of a corpse which, as it is exhibited to them, is carried around in a chest, is not a reminder of what happened to Osiris, as some assume; but it is to urge them, as they contemplate it, to use and to enjoy the present, since all very soon must be what it is now and this is their purpose in introducing it into the midst of merry-making.

As they relate, Isis proceeded to her son Horus, who was being reared in Buto, and bestowed the chest in a place well out of the way; but Typhon, who was hunting by night in the light of the moon, happened upon it. Recognizing the body he divided it into fourteen parts and scattered them, each in a different place. Isis learned of this and sought for them again, sailing through the swamps in a boat of papyrus. This is the reason why people sailing in such boats are not harmed by the crocodiles, since these creatures in their own way show either their fear or their reverence for the goddess.

The traditional result of Osiris's dismemberment is that there are many so called tombs of Osiris in Egypt; for Isis held a funeral for each part when she had found it. Others deny this and assert that she caused effigies of him to be made and these she distributed among the several cities, pretending that she was giving them his body, in order that he might receive divine honours in a greater number of cities, and also that, if Typhon should succeed in overpowering Horus, he might despair of ever finding the true tomb when so many were pointed out to him, all of them called the tomb of Osiris.

Of the parts of Osiris's body the only one which Isis did not find was the male member, for the reason that this had been at once tossed into the river, and the lepidotus, the sea-bream, and the pike had fed upon it; and it is from these very fishes the Egyptians are most scrupulous in abstaining. But Isis made a replica of the member to take its place, and consecrated the phallus, in honour of which the Egyptians even at the present day celebrate a festival.

Later, as they relate, Osiris came to Horus from the other world and exercised and trained him for the battle. After a time Osiris asked Horus what he held to be the most noble of all things. When Horus replied, "To avenge one's father and mother for evil done to them," Osiris then asked him what animal he considered the most useful for them who go forth to battle; and when Horus said, "A horse," Osiris was surprised and raised the question why it was that he had not rather said a lion than a horse. Horus answered that a lion was a useful thing for a man in need of assistance, but that a horse served best for cutting off the flight of an enemy and annihilating him. When Osiris heard this he was much pleased, since he felt that Horus had now an adequate preparation. It is said that, as many were continually transferring their allegiance to Horus, Typhon's concubine, Thueris, also came over to him; and a serpent which pursued her Dwas cut to pieces by Horus's men, and now, in memory of this, the people throw down a rope in their midst and chop it up.

Now the battle, as they relate, lasted many days and Horus prevailed.

The machinators of the ‘Tomb’ of Jesus should reread Plutarch’s excerpt times and again. For they must finally understand that they won’t get away with the crimnal plans and deeds of theirs.
