Who bought Your Product Strategy
People love proofs. If you claim to be the best affiliate marketer, show them your affiliate earnings. If you claim to have the highest adsense earnings, show them your monthly outputs. If you claim to be successful in what you are doing, then show them your results.
This is one way of making people believe in you, thus creating sales of your products.
So what happens if you have a new product, and have no proof?
How will you be able to sell?
Your customers are your keys to profits.
It doesn't matter whether you have sold lots of products or not. What's important is that there are people who bought your product. They will be your business strength.
How, you may ask?
Here is what you should do. Get the list of your customers who bought the product and then contact each one and ask them if they would be willing to give a testimonial about your product. Tell them that in return you will list the testimonial and a link back to their site. This will get them a lot of exposure and back links.
Now if no one has bought your product, why not give 10 people a free copy and ask them to review it. You could go to a website like the warriorsforum.com and start a thread asking people to review the product for you!
Many people will say "But Richard if the people who bought your product are not known in the internet community is this not bad?" The answer is it depends some people prefer to see testimonials from unkowns rather than from other gurus who may have simply said - "send me what you want me to say and I'll say it" type of thing. Many people now believe that gurus "scratch each other’s back" That is I will promote / give a testimonial for your product if you give one for mine!
However having said that, it can be really beneficial if you are starting out to get a well known internet personality to endorse your product.
Here is what you can do:
1.) Find selected well-known individuals whom you can email.
2.) List Top 10 persons who are the best from those.
3.) Email them then attach your products.
Just give it to them for free. If they promote it, good. If not, don't worry much because it’s not the reason why you gave them your products.
Follow up with these people and ask them if they could read the ebook if they have time and write a short review of it - believe it or not some will do this and will be delighted to do it to help you out!
