White Christmas Tree Skirt
Are you searching on how to make white Christmas tree skirt at home? Then look no further and read the following article for all the help you need...

But this year, Stephanie got an idea of making a tree skirt from a friend of hers. With few simple materials, Stephanie's friend had made a gorgeous black and white tree skirt to be kept in her home. So why should Stephanie be left behind? Even she thought of surprising Owen with this and showing some of her knitting skills. Now all she needed was the supplies and the instructions on how to go about it.
Christmas is always a joyous time when the entire family comes together and celebrates the day with one another. Exchanging of the gifts, reminiscing the past holidays, making plans for the future, and having a delicious dinner like there's no tomorrow. And the best part is, decorating the entire house along with the Christmas tree.
Make Christmas Tree Skirt
Not many people remember this, but a tree skirt is also part of the entire Christmas decoration. If you are good at sticking or knitting, you can come up with gorgeous designs and cuts for the skirt. However, don't think that you are only limited to round skirts. You can even think of triangle, rectangle, and square Christmas skirts as well. But if you would like an elegant Christmas decoration, then here are the steps to making a round, 42'' tree skirt.
Materials Required
- 1 round vinyl tablecloth (pattern, your choice)
- 5 ft. ribbon roll
- 7 yard lace
- Assorted snowflake sequins
- Glue gun and Scissors
- Yardstick and Marker
- 10'' round bowl
Step #2 - Now fold the tablecloth in half twice. You will get the center point of the cloth. Use the marker to mark this point. Place the 10'' round bowl directly over the point and make a circle around it. Cut this section out as well. This will be where the trunk of the Christmas tree will go.
Step #3 - Take the lace and use glue to attach it around all the edges of the tablecloth; the big outer edge and the small 10'' inner edge. If you are using a lace with frills on it, make sure it is pointed outside.
Step #4 - Now, with the ribbon, we will make 4-5 bows. Use glue to secure the folds you made on the ribbon. Take these bows and evenly glue them directly over the lace on the big outer edge.
Step #5 - Now comes the assorted snowflake sequins. Glue it all over the tablecloth in any type of pattern you like (spread out evenly, randomly, lines, anything). As an optional decorating idea, use fake snow decoration for the skirt as well. And that's it; your skirt is ready.
You can use a lot of different variations such as using different colored lace, ribbons, and sequins to decorate. And as I mentioned earlier, you can even make an unusual shape for the tree skirt as well; you don't have to choose a round skirt. And if you are leaning towards any white Christmas tree decorating ideas, then perhaps you can go with a black and white skirt to give it an elegant look. Choose different patterns if you like and search for images on the Internet. I'm sure your creative mind will pick up on something worth your tree.
